I ended up using "my wordpress", also from themeforest. This theme does have auto resize. Now I just need to rethink the logo of that theme. On my weblog about Adsense (http://www.wwohn.com) I use arthemia. It's a nice free theme. This one requires some more work however to install and tweak. Still working on that one. There's a little bit of setup required, so you definitely be comfortable with WordPress. I had an issue with the drop-down navigation menus so I am just not using them. They stopped working after I removed a couple things (the flickr widget for instance) so it was probably my fault and I haven't been able to fix it. Besides that, I am running 2.8.6 and everything seems to work fine. There's one thing you may want to consider-- With this theme you have to prepare 200x200 graphics for each article, which gets kind of old.
